*Our black cardamom comes from certified organic agriculture, and moreover, the last batch was tested without pesticides by a French laboratory after harvest. However, we have just downgraded this batch to non-organic because anthraquinone was found in a second laboratory test. Indeed, since “black” cardamom is by definition smoked, anthraquinone could be found in the fuel. The toxicity of anthraquinone not being proven for humans, by a letter of May 20, 2020, the DDPP allows us to sell this batch of black cardamom in conventional.
