Atma Chaï is adapted for sports practiced in cold weather. Atma Chai is deliberately free of black tea, as caffeine is an iron chelator. Caffeine reduces the level of iron, which is essential for the production of red blood cells that carry oxygen in the blood. Thus, Atma Chaï is suitable for sports that require a very high consumption of oxygen.

– Rasa (taste) : pungent and slightly bitter and sweet.
– Guṇa (quality) : light and dry.
– Vīrya (energy) : warm.
– Vipāka (result) : pungent.
A warming drink full of flavours suited for the winter and mountain hikes.
Boil one liter of water.
Add 2 teaspoons of Atma Chaï.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
